Data Removal / Opt-Out

Request removal of a page that displays your name.

Some pages on UnclaimedMoneyFinder.org display unclaimed-property records that come from publicly available state government databases. If a page on our Site shows your name and you would like it removed, we will honor your request โ€” at no charge.

How to Request Removal

Email privacy@unclaimedmoneyfinder.org with the subject line "Data Removal Request" and include:

• The full name shown on the page
• The state the page is for
• The link (URL) of the page you want removed

To protect against fraudulent requests on someone else's behalf, we may ask you to verify that the request relates to you or someone you are authorized to represent.

What Happens Next

Once we receive a valid request, we will remove the page from our Site and request that it be removed from search-engine results, typically within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation once it is done.

Important Note

Removing a page from our Site does not remove the underlying record from the official state unclaimed-property database, which is maintained by the state government as public record. The funds (if any) remain claimable directly through the official state portal. If you wish to claim or address the record itself, contact the relevant state's unclaimed-property office.
